ASSERT is an East Timorese NGO (non-governmental organisation) working for the rights of disabled people, established in partnership with UK NGO the Cambodia Trust. Together, ASSERT and The Cambodia Trust have established the Timor Loro Saâe Centre for Physical Rehabilitation (TLSPR) - Timor's first rehabilitation centre for disabled people. ASSERT is supported by the Government of East Timor, Ministry of Labour and Social Re-Insertion.
